Moscow comes to Paris, for real?

I am loving the new Chanel collection called "Moscow comes to Paris"!!! Karl Lagerfeld was influenced by Old Russian style in his new collection with red square red hues and winter whites. A nostalgic collection indeed.
These pieces are going to fly off the racks when they release them in 7 months, mostly due to the fact that these pieces are exquisitely put together and the best of the best designed them.
They bring back old jetset class to modern fashion.Hopefully the economy goes back up by then so these timely pieces will have a home. I hope to never see them at the discount racks at off saks.

Russian vogue Launch party promo

What else could get the fashion crowd to come to Moscow for the Vogue 10th anniversary party?
Matrioska Russian dolls designed by some of the biggest fashion houses in the world!
These adorable little dolls come at a costly price, ringing up at a comfortable 45,000 usd.
Why are they so expensive? Because they are one of a kind originals measuring at half a meter.

With the economy crashing and all, who wouldn't want to invest in one of these dolls?

The PR on these things is great, they practically sell themselves, especially since the fashion houses advertise in the magazines plus having them pictured with stylistas of the world could have helped too.

Now those are some parents

This weekend, while at an Australian zoo, a little boy snuck into the zoo and decided to go on a killing rampage killing numerous lizards with rocks as well as feeding the resident alligator turtles and bearded lizards/dragons.

Those parents must have really taught the kid boundaries. With the way he's going, he's going to be the next huge serial killer I bet. Watch out Aussies.

GoBama

Oooh Obama is so good. He already made an ad that includes a clip from the Vice Presidential debate. The ad is about health care plans, and if you can remember the debates last night, Sarah Palin wasn't straight forward at all with her answer, ultimately leading to Joe Biden saying that the other tickets plan was " A bridge to nowhere".The ad wasn't about what she said but rather, what palinizer didn't say. I can't believe how quickly they made it. I bet they already had pre-set templates because they knew Palin wouldn't do so hot.Now that's thinking ahead.

I love the ad. So simple and straight to the point. I posted a link to the ad. Check it.

Hello Gareth Pugh

Hello Gorgeous. Why haven't I heard of Gareth Pugh until now? Mister needs a better PR agent. His new spring season is a mixture of fencing goths/Elizabethan dolls/Mod//futuristic-Eero Saarinen inspired frocks. Yummy. One thing I don't understand is how this could possibly be ready to wear.
Wear where Pugh?

First ever E-ink Magazine (Esquire)

Esquires 75th anniversary edition this month comes with an E-Ink cover. It basically means the cover keeps blinking/flashing (nothing we haven't seen before). The technology is the same as a Sony reader and there is a circuit board in the back. I have to admit it's an ideal way to wow the crowds. Too bad they only put out 100,000 of those issues.
